The Tale of Silly Eevee: Part 2 – The Festival of Smiles
Share
After becoming the first-ever Laughteon,
Silly Eevee’s fame spread far and wide. Pokémon from all over the region traveled to meet the cheerful creature whose laugh could brighten even the gloomiest day. Silly Eevee, now Laughteon, loved the attention but always stayed humble, reminding everyone, "The best joy comes from being yourself!"
One day, Laughteon received an invitation to the grand Festival of Smiles,
an annual celebration held in the heart of Jubilife City. The festival honored Pokémon who brought happiness to others, and Laughteon was chosen as the guest of honor. Excited yet nervous, Laughteon gathered its moss hat, a shiny new berry bag, and a bundle of glittery confetti—because what’s a party without sparkles?
As Laughteon trotted into Jubilife City, it was greeted by an enormous crowd.
Balloons filled the sky, music played from every corner, and children cheered, holding handmade Laughteon dolls. But something felt... off. Among the happy faces, Laughteon noticed a small Togepi sitting alone near the fountain, tears glistening in its tiny eyes.
Laughteon approached the Togepi and gently asked, "What’s wrong, little friend?"
The Togepi sniffled and held up a broken balloon string. "My balloon floated away. It was shaped like a star, and now I don’t have anything to hold during the festival."
Laughteon smiled and said, "Don’t worry! I have an idea."
It reached into its glittery confetti bag, grabbed a handful, and with a shake of its tail, sent a shower of sparkling joy into the air. The confetti swirled and danced, forming the shape of a glowing star that floated above Togepi’s head.
Togepi’s tears turned into giggles as it hopped up and down, delighted by its magical new "balloon." The crowd around them clapped and cheered, but Laughteon wasn’t done yet.
"Let’s make this festival unforgettable!" Laughteon exclaimed,
and it began to spread its laughter-powered magic across the city. It bounced through the streets, leaving trails of glowing confetti and rainbow sparkles. Broken festival stands repaired themselves, tired performers found new energy, and even the grumpiest Pokémon couldn’t help but join the fun.
By the end of the night, Jubilife City was alive with joy.
The mayor presented Laughteon with a special medal: the Heart of Happiness, awarded to those who embody the spirit of the Festival of Smiles.
But Laughteon didn’t keep the medal for itself. Instead, it placed it around Togepi’s neck and said, "You taught me something important today—that even the smallest Pokémon can inspire the biggest smiles."
The festival ended with a dazzling fireworks display,
and Laughteon danced under the stars with its new friends, knowing that its journey had only just begun.
With a heart full of laughter and a sparkle in its eyes, Laughteon vowed to continue spreading joy to Pokémon everywhere. After all, the world could always use a little more silliness.
